Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell defender Emerson Royal for any offer around the £20 million price tag, per Football Insider.
The North Londoners are readying a mass exodus in the upcoming summer transfer window owing to the recent call from manager Ange Postecoglou demanding change. With multiple players rumored to be leaving White Hart Lane this summer, the Brazilian full-back is said to be one of them.
The officials at N17 are ready to tell the 25-year-old to find a new club in the off-season. He has been demoted in a back-up role to Pedro Porro in his natural right-back position. However, Emerson still managed to accumulate 21 appearances in the Premier League this season, although the majority of those have come in a filler role at left-back and center-back.
The Lilywhites are in search of a new full-back in the upcoming summer transfer window, and that could spell an end to the former Real Betis player’s spell in North London. His current deal at N17 runs out in June 2026.
Tottenham signed Emerson Royal from Barcelona in a highly anticipated deal for £25.8 million in 2021. However, he hasn’t been able to replicate his Spanish top-tier form in the Premiership.
