Levy’s Tottenham rebuild vs. ITV punditry – Can Postecoglou juggle both this summer?
Tottenham Hotspur fans are set to be blessed with Ange Postecoglou goodness this summer season, as the Australian boss is looking to join ITV this summer as a part of their English punditry team for the upcoming European Championship in 2024.
Every big summer, we see a couple of British broadcast channels fight over getting a Hall of Fame punditry team, and this off-season is no different. Initially, it was a bow to get Liverpool departing Jurgen Klopp to get on pundit duty following his departure from the Merseyside Reds.
However, the former Borussia Dortmund manager wants to take a complete break from football and is likely to be in Germany as a fan rather than in any professional capacity.
With Klopp not available, the BBC and ITV have moved on to get Ange Postecoglou to join their team for Euro 2024, per the Daily Mail. The reports tag ITV as a favorite to land the Australian’s services and also claim that his presence would boost the viewership preference for this Euro.
Will Spurs boss Postecoglou find time for Euro 2024 punditry duties?
This comes as a surprise move for the Australian gaffer. Since his move to Tottenham last summer, the former Celtic coach has received love from all corners of the nation and beyond, especially for his nonchalant approach and bringing a distinct Australianness to the press conferences.
The North Londoners have tasked Postecoglou with an interesting project that demands a lot of his time and energy, especially this summer.
