Richarlison shuts down exit rumors – “Not Leaving England Next Season!”
Tottenham Hotspur ace Richarlison has been linked with a move away from North London this summer; however, the Brazilian ace has taken to social media to dismiss any speculations linking him with a move away from White Hart Lane.
The former Everton star has enjoyed successful spells under Ange Postecoglou this season; however, his ongoing campaign has been hit by injuries as he has been on the sidelines on multiple occasions. He does boast a splendid spell in front of goal, as he has caused opponents’ problems every time he has played in the 2023–24 season.
From Saudi Arabia speculation to social media rebuke
Irrespective of his goal-scoring antics, Richarlison has been subject to links to a Spurs exit this summer, with reports stating he is beyond Ange’s plans at N17, complemented by the fact that the North Londoners are linked with a move for a marquee striker this summer. The reliable Tottenham correspondent Paul O Keefe has stated that the Brazilian will be a part of the major overhaul that Spurs will oversee this summer.
There have been reports linking the 27-year-old with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Hilal named as a potential destination, per the Daily Mail.
However, Richy has taken to Instagram to dismiss the speculations of a potential exit with links to Saudi Arabia. He wrote on his Instagram Story:
The striker wrote,
“I gave up my vacation and came to work in Sao Paulo so I could return well and be ready for the next season.”
“I never said I was dissatisfied at my club, and everything that has been coming out in the media here about negotiations is fake news.”
“I don’t know where they got that from! I won’t leave England next season!”
