Will Richarlison be lured away by Saudi millions?

Former Tottenham Hotspur head scout Bryan King has enounced his doubts about Brazilian forward Richarlison staying at White Hart Lane beyond the upcoming summer transfer window, despite the 27-year-old publicly stating his desire to stay at N17 by dismissing exit rumors.

The former Everton ace has been subject to heavy links with a move away from the Lilywhites, and multiple reports suggest that the club would be willing to sanction a sale if his price tag is met. Multiple clubs from the Saudi Pro League, including recently crowned champions Al-Ittihad, have expressed interest in signing Richy this summer and are willing to offer a substantial fee to sign Richarlison and allow the North Londoners to recoup the £60 million fee they paid for his services in 2022.

The Lilywhites paid a lot of money to secure his signing; however, they are yet to reap the dividends of their investment. Following rumors of a potential exit aided by Spurs prerequisite to sign a marquee striker, the Brazilian ace took to Instagram to deny a Tottenham exit, stating:

“Fake news. I won’t leave England in the summer transfer window. I left my holidays to work in Brazil because I want to return at the best possible level next season.”

Bryan King, in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, indicates that Richy may still leave Spurs this summer, as he insists that the Brazilian does not fit into Ange’s style of play, saying:

“I still don’t think he has a future with the club. He just doesn’t seem to be a Postecoglou type of player. How many times have we seen a player suggest they’re happy to stay where they are before leaving?

“I am sure he could still have his head turned by the money on offer in Saudi Arabia.”
