Unhappy Dragusin eyes loan move away from Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur signed Radu Dragusin in the winter transfer window, although he has not had minutes under his belt at N17 owing to the phenomenal partnership of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero in the heart of defense.
The former Genoa center-back was tagged as one of the most highly rated CBs in the Italian top division when Spurs sealed his signatures; however, he does not wish to sit on the bench and could be looking for a way out in just half a season at White Hart Lane.
He would consider moving back to Italy to consider his development, however, on a loan deal. With the Romanian international not keen to have a substitute role, he could return to Serie A and ensure his growth as a player, per Area Napoli. He is unhappy with his role under Ange Postecoglou as of now and could force himself into a new club, even if only on a temporary basis, in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Conte’s Napoli circles Radu Dragusin
Spurs fought tooth and nail to secure his signatures as the Romanian ace chose to join the North Londoners despite a last-ditch attempt from Bayern Munich. However, he hasn’t made similar headlines on the pitch and has spent more time off it than he would have liked. The report states that he would be willing to move to see more game time under his belt, and Dragusin might even consider a loan move back to the Italian Premier Division if that would help him play consistently through a season.
Napoli have expressed interest in landing his services, and Radu may end up linking up with former Spurs boss Antonio Conte if he joins the Naples-based club.
