Tottenham can get 30-goal striker for £15m
As reported by Football London, Tottenham Hotspur can land 30-goal striker, Serhou Guirassy for the cheap price of £15m this summer. The 28-year-old’s release clause is valued at that amount and multiple teams would be more than happy to trigger it.
Guirassy has had an absolutely smashing season in the Bundesliga recording 30 goals and three assists in 30 appearances. The change of scenery has been massive for the 28-year-old who has suddenly become world-class with Stuttgart.
Now, while Guirassy can be available for cheap there is no guarantee that he would be open to a move this summer. He signed with VfB Stuttgart just last year and might not accept a move after just one season at the club.
Even if Guirassy does agree to leave Stuttgart after just one season, multiple teams are standing in line for him. There has been talk linking the player to Manchester United for quite some time now.
So, while the 28-year-old would be a cheap signing, getting his signature on paper will not be easy for the Lilywhites. With so many factors to consider the Spurs need to move as fast as they can if they wish to sign Guirassy.
There’s no guarantee that someone else won’t try and trigger Guirassy’s cheap release clause. Manchester United who anyway wish to operate on a reasonable budget this season will most likely not be willing to let this opportunity slip by.
