Spurs make contact with Pereira’s agent as they eye summer move

Tottenham Hotspur FC have expressed keenness to bring former Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira to White Hart Lane this summer, and the Lilywhites have already initiated contact with his agent, Kia Joorabchian.

The North Londoners are looking to bolster their midfield in the upcoming summer transfer window, and they have been linked with a roadrunner who can contribute offensively and can be intensifying in pressing in Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. The Lilywhites will be getting something very similar in singing the Brazilian ace this summer.

Spurs and Daniel Levy will be looking to build on Ange Postecoglou’s impressive first season at N17 as they look to increase the ceiling of the roster at the Australian’s disposal.

With an eye for an eight/ten hybrid, the N17-based club has set sights on Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira, per Globo Esporte. The report states that they have already set sights on the 28-year-old and have ‘sounded out’ his agent.

The Brazilian ace has had an impressive season at Craven Cottage, with 12 goal contributions in the 2023–24 campaign. While there are still a couple of years left on his current contract with the Cottagers, there are expectations he could be moved by Fulham this summer. He apparently had an agreement with Marco Silva that he could leave the club in the first two seasons.

There have been multiple interests in his signatures during that time; however, all were turned down. The club as well as the player think this is the right time to move on.

With Tottenham already in contract with his super-agent Kia Joorabchian, the club can try convincing Pereira on the project as he looks for a Champions League home.
