Roma is ready to be reasonable with the asking price for their key striker amid Tottenham interest
According to a report by Italian publication La Roma, AS Roma is ready to accept reasonable bids for their 26-year-old key striker, Tammy Abraham, amid interests from around the world, including Tottenham Hotspur.
Due to a knee injury, the former Chelsea striker missed the majority of the previous campaign and only managed one goal for the team. Although he still has two years left on his deal, Roma is willing to consider bids for the attacker this summer in an effort to raise money.
Roma had a €30 million asking price for Abraham, but according to the Italian report, they are now willing to accept bids below that price. Roma might consider selling him for somewhere around €22 million to €25 million in the upcoming transfer window.
Abraham is not a big part of Daniele De Rossi’s intentions to restructure his front line. Roma is prepared to add a new striker and is waiting for concrete bids for the former Chelsea player to come in this summer.
Tammy has been a key player in Roma’s squad for the past few seasons, having made 50 G/A contributions during his 119 appearances for the club since he joined them in 2019.
Abraham’s arrival at Tottenham will enable players like Richarlison and Son Heung-min to perform their positions as naturally as possible. The North London club needs someone who can lead the line for them.
The 26-year-old will be eager to show off his abilities in the Premier League, and it will be thrilling to get the chance to play for a prestigious team like Tottenham. He has what it takes to be successful in English football, and Tottenham could find him to be a valuable addition.
