Tottenham academy sensation to reject Real Madrid; has already featured under Ange Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur prodigy Mikey Moore to snub Real Madrid for Spurs challenge

Journalist Ben Jacobs insists that Tottenham Hotspur starlet Mikey Moore wants to continue at White Hart Lane despite interest from the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid, and PSG.

Irrespective of his young age, Moore has already become the talk of the town owing to his impeccable abilities, complemented by such performances for Hotspur Way Academy sides. This has generated interest from some of Europe’s most elite clubs, but Ben Jacobs insists that he is willing to continue at N17 despite the tempting offers for a move away.

This shows his commitment to Spurs and the willingness that the player possesses to make a name for himself by wearing the Tottenham badge.

Moore’s no-brainer

Speaking about the 16-year-old winger and the rumours linking him with a Spurs exit and his potential future in North London, Ben Jacobs said (via. Givemesport):

“I think Mikey Moore still wants to stay at Spurs. He’s a highly-rated talent and still only 16 years old, so we always need to be a little bit careful in how we report these things. We’re still talking about a young teenager, and it’s important that the hype is not overblown at this stage because there is never any guarantee with players until they turn 18 and have that first professional contract, or obviously end up as first-team players. But it is true to say that Mikey Moore is a top talent, and Tottenham’s expectation is that he will stay at the club.”

“The family is very grounded, as is the player, and they’re flattered by links with both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. PSG downplays any kind of concrete move at this stage, and Tottenham are still optimistic that he will stay at the football club because it’s the right place for his development.”

At 16, he looks like the next big thing coming out of England, and his performances have reflected such credentials. He enjoyed 31 outings with the Spurs youth team, where he scored 19 goals while providing a total of 13 assists. His numbers representing the Three Lions Under-17 team are equally good, with 10 goals in 12 appearances.
