Spurs to make Gallagher decision soon
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, with many citing that the North Londoners have made the England international their prime target going into the summer window.
However, we are about to start pre-season preparations, and nothing has materialized on this front, which has led many supporters to question if the club is ever going to move for the former Derby star.
Chelsea star Gallagher desperate for Madrid move
John Wenham, owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, believes that Spurs will soon make a decision on whether they are going to pursue a move for the Chelsea midfielder this summer. He also acknowledges that the Lilywhites will have to access the options on the roster as of now before making a move for the 24-year-old maestro.
Alongside Tottenham, Atletico Madrid are also looking to sign Gallagher, and per Diario AS, the England midfielder is desperate to move to the Spanish capital after speaking with his international teammate Kieran Trippier about life in Madrid.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Conor Gallagher for some time now. And Wenham, speaking about the midfielder’s potential move in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, said:
“What is interesting is that he still hasn’t signed a new Chelsea contract. In January, he will be able to agree to a pre-contract with an overseas club, perhaps Atletico Madrid. We’ve signed Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall, so whether or not Tottenham decide to move for Gallagher again depends on what level the club sees those players at.”
“Rodrigo Bentancur too; I am hoping he can get back to his pre-injury form. I think Gallagher is a good player who would improve us, and I am sure Postecoglou would love to sign him. However, we will have to wait and see what Spurs decide to do in the coming weeks.”

Gallagher was one of the better players for the West Londoners last season; however, it looks like he could move away from the Bridge this summer. However, if the Three Lions ace is considering a move to Madrid, Daniel Levy & Co. will have to act fast in order to land him before the player and the club strike a deal with Atletico Madrid.
