Al Ahli target Son Heung-min as Saint-Maximin Replacement

Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-Min could be closing in on his move away from White Hart Lane. The South Korean ace has been subject to links away from Spurs with Saudi Pro League clubs interested in acquiring his services.

The former Bayer Leverkusen winger is one of the best-attacking players in the English top tier, and his performances at White Hart Lane have got Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli interested in pursuing his signatures. Al Ahil are set to part ways with former Newcastle United ace Allan Saint-Maximin, and they have identified Son as a potential replacement, per Rudy Galetti.

The former Newcastle player has been one of the marquee figures at the Saudi Pro club, and Al Ahil will need to replace him with a quality figure. The South Korean international has proven his credentials in the Premier League and for his country, and his arrival can transform Al-Ahil’s offensive options. Wayne Rooney, the Man Utd legend labelled him a great player.

The 32-year-old has been one of the most acclaimed attackers in the Premier League. He scored 17 goals and complemented with a further tally of 10 assists in all competitions last season. His arrival at Al Ahil will boost their offensive output, but it is thought to see Spurs selling Son.

Son Heung-Min has become the central figure at the club since Harry Kane’s departure last summer. And selling the South Korean in just twelve months would be a mistake.
