Gil heading back to Spain on loan

Tottenham Hotspur have been actively trying to resolve the future of multiple players as they look to compound on the expected summer exodus, and Bryan Gil is one of those players who is expected to bid adieu to White Hart Lane.

The North Londoners are reportedly close to finding an agreement for a loan deal that will take the silky winger who was ‘born to play football’ to La Liga side Girona.

Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims that an agreement is just around the corner. The agreement will see the 23-year-old extend his contract at White Hart Lane, which will then include a €15 million release clause.

Girona will enjoy the first option to seduce his signatures on a permanent transfer, although other clubs can also have their pick if the winger decides not to stay.

Negotiations between the Lilywhites and Girona have advanced significantly, with both parties ironing out the final details to agree. The player is very keen on moving to Girona and is expected to arrive in Spain on Monday.

Bryan Gil has been looking to find regular minutes under his belt at N17, something that has been hard to come by his way.

The club kept him out of the pre-season tour to Japan and South Korea, insisting that he find potential suitors that could take him away from White Hart Lane.

It looks like Gil is finally heading away from Spurs, if only on a loan deal. This looks like the end of his time wearing the Spurs badge.
