Spurs secure future of highly-rated teenager Mikey Moore
Tottenham Hotspur are not looking for a possible split with academy youngster Mikey Moore amid interest from Premier League rivals for his signature.
Moore has been highly rated around Hotspur Way, and he has enjoyed an exceptional rise at White Hart Lane. The player has already made his senior debut for the Lilywhites at sixteen, and he has been putting in some exceptional performances for club and country at the youth level. His performances in pre-season has caught the eye of Spurs fans.
Tottenham fend off interest in Moore
His rise with Spurs has not gone unnoticed in world football, as clubs from across Europe are increasingly looking to lure the teenager away from North London. Manchester United and Manchester City have expressed interest in landing the youngster, and while the Premier League duo offered him a deal to switch sides, Spurs are in no mood to part ways with Moore and are set to offer him a professional deal to end speculations about a move away from White Hart Lane, per Football Insider.
The player is all set to pen down a long-term deal at Tottenham on August 11, when he turns 17. He is currently travelling to South Korea and Japan as a part of Ange Postecoglou’s preseason squad and is expected to play some role in the 2024–25 season after making his debut last season.
