Wolves and Leicester City interested in Tottenham forward Manor Solomon

As reported in an exclusive report by TBR Football, Wolves and Leicester City are interested in Tottenham forward Manor Solomon.

The Israel international moved to North London just last season on a free transfer.

Brighton and Hove Albion are in the mix for the 25-year-old as well, with interest emerging also from mainland Europe.

Solomon impressed in his season-long loan at Fulham in 2022/23, prompting the Lilywhites to hand him a £60k-a-week five-year contract last summer.

Despite showing promise early on, Solomon suffered a meniscus injury in October last year which sidelined him for the rest of the season. He returned to full fitness only last month. Even during his loan spell at Fulham, Solomon spent the first half of the season recuperating from a knee injury that required surgery. (Source: Transfermarkt)

The former Shakhtar Donetsk forward is valued by Transfermarkt at €13 million.

Spurs can afford to let Solomon go

Given his recent injury record, it is more than understandable as to why Spurs are inclined to let Solomon go after just one season.

Moreover, as their hunt for an out-and-out centre-forward intensifies, one can safely assume that the addition of such a player would categorically push club captain Son Heung-min out wide on the left.

Given the other players Spurs have in the ranks that can operate both centrally and out wide, it is safe to say that they are well-stocked and can afford to cut their losses early on Solomon.
