Tottenham 3-0 Arsenal | January 16, 1960
Yeah, we’re gonna have to go a bit back in time for most of these. The ’60s would go on to be one of the greatest decades in Tottenham’s history, so it’s only fitting for one of their biggest North London Derby wins to have arrived right at the start of the decade.
Les Allen (22′, 86′) and Bobby Smith (57′) scored the Spurs goals on the day.

We had six different scorers on the sheet that day, two of them from Arsenal as Nicklas Bendtner sent one in his own net and Emmanuel Adebayor, still at Arsenal at the time, pulled one back for the Gunners. The other four Spurs goals came from Jermaine Jenas (3′), Robbie Keane (48′), Aaron Lennon (60′), and Steed Malbranque (90+4′).

Thankfully, we don’t have to go to pre-World War II football to look at Spurs’ biggest-ever win against Arsenal.
Five goals were scored. Clean sheet in the bag. Proper job done, as one would say. With three different goal-scorers, we had two braces in this game from Chris Hughton (10′, 18′) and Mark Falco (13′, 53′), as Alan Brazil (66′) of talkSPORT fame scored the Lilywhites’ final goal on the day.
