AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic eyeing shock summer move to Tottenham

AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic has instructed his agent to find him a Premier League club based in London

Tottenham Hotspur are working hard behind the scenes to appoint a new manager after parting ways with Ange Postecoglou.

Despite leading the North London outfit to their first trophy in 17 years by winning the Europa League, Ange Postecoglou was sacked on Friday just weeks after his accomplishment. While the Lilywhites went all the way in the Europa League and clinched the silverware, they royally struggled in the Premier League and lost an eye-watering 22 games out of 38.

Spurs’ Premier League performances and form was impossible to ignore, leading to Daniel Levy pulling the trigger on the Australian boss. Now, Spurs are fully focussed on getting the right managerial appointment, and as per reports, Brentford boss Thomas Frank is the frontrunners to replace Postecoglou.

Before bringing in a new manager, Spurs are apparently not making any moves in the transfer market. However, that hasn’t stopped from players being linked with moves to N17.

According to Calciomercato journalist Alessandro Schiavone, AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic is showing interest in a summer move to Tottenham or Arsenal. The USA international faces an uncertain future at San Siro amid AC Milan’s impending first-team exodus after an underwhelming season in Serie A, and thus he has ordered his agent to find him a new club—preferably in London.

With left-back Theo Hernandez on his way to Saudi Arabia, midfielder Tijjani Reijnders closing in on a big-money move to Manchester City and goalkeeper Mike Maignan on the radar of Chelsea, Christian Pulisic is eyeing a return to the Premier League. The 26-year-old spent four seasons at Chelsea, where he made close to 150 appearances. However, he never managed to fully realise his potential at Stamford Bridge owing to persistent injury problems and inconsistency.

Having moved to AC Milan in 2023, Pulisic has managed to rejuvenate his career. The USA winger was one of the Rossoneri’s rare bright spots in an otherwise disappointing 2024/25 season, delivering 11 goals and nine assists in 34 league outings. With Milan eyeing a major squad revamp, he is open to returning to the Premier League.

More Tottenham Hotspur News:

Spurs are in need of wide players, owing to the expiry of Timo Werner’s loan spell and the uncertain futures of Son Heung-min and Richarlison. Pulisic, in that regard, would be a good fit. Having put his injury troubles behind, the ex-Borussia Dortmund star seems determined to test himself in the Premier League again. At 26, he is entering his prime, and Spurs would expect him to hit the ground running due to his previous Premier League experience.

All in all, if the incoming new Tottenham boss approves the move, Levy must not hesitate to table an offer for Pulisic.
