Tottenham are preparing to fight hard in the Champions League next season under Thomas Frank
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has already outlined that he intends on turning the Lilywhites into ‘serial winners’ during his time at the club. The Danish tactician is keen to make his mark at N17 following a high-profile switch from Brentford last month. And it looks like the highly-rated manager will need help from Daniel Levy in the transfer market if Spurs were to endure a successful season.
The Lilywhites cannot afford to be complacent in the summer, and fans are hoping that the North London club can bring in a few quality players during the business-end of the transfer window. Mohammed Kudus’ arrival from West Ham ensured that Levy was willing to spend a fortune on new players. So, Thomas Frank will hope that a similar trend continues for more signings in the coming weeks.

Not only that, but Spurs are looking to fight hard on all four fronts next season under the new manager. It is easier said than done, and Thomas Frank is hoping to go as deep as possible in the Champions League next season as the club aims to build on the Europa League success next season.
Tottenham need to prioritise new signings in the coming weeks
A massive task lies ahead for Thomas Frank as Tottenham prepare themselves to play in the Champions League next season. The Lilywhites will come up against the best teams in Europe on a regular basis. And for that, Thomas Frank’s men will have to be prepared to go into battle week in week out. The Danish tactician will also hope that reinforcements are brought in the coming weeks to bolster the quality of the squad.
Now, Gabby Agbonlahor has also urged Spurs to sign new players and add more depth to the squad for Champions League football next season. Speaking on talkSPORT (via X), Agbonlahor said,
“Spurs have got the funds. Bidding £60m for Gibbs-White shows they’ve got the money, so I’m sure they will buy more players while they need to. Spurs still need a bit of work done on the transfer side.”

The ex-Villa star added,
“And the problem they’ve got is…if they don’t, they’re going into the big boy league now, the Champions League. You can get found out. You can get some big hidings. You need two top players in each position.”
Gabby Agbonlahor has pointed out that Tottenham have enough funds to bring in new players in the coming weeks. The ex-Villa star believes that the Lilywhites need to focus on the transfers and bolster the quality of the squad quickly. Agbonlahor has also insisted that Spurs need two top players in each position, or else they will struggle in the Champions League next season.
It remains to be seen how Daniel Levy approaches the transfer market in the coming weeks. Tottenham are slowly aiming to address the problems on the pitch, and are also on the verge of completing another deal in a few days’ time. It was reported earlier that the Lilywhites have reached an agreement to land Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich on an initial loan deal, with an option to buy the player permanently next summer.
