Tottenham have a sorted central defence that Thomas Frank can trust this upcoming season but adding another option to mix might not be the worst idea, considering the injury history of the existing options in the squad.
Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have had their own share of injury problems in the past while Radu Dragusin is still recovering from an ACL injury. Kevin Danso is the other natural central defender in the roster.
Now, as per journalist Christian Falk via CF Bayern Insider, Bayern Munich remain open to offers this summer to sell South Korean defender Kim Min-jae amid interest from Tottenham, Chelsea and Al Nassr.
Kim Min-jae has had a mixed time at Bayern Munich

The South Korean central defender has been at the German club for a few seasons now, enjoying mixed success on a personal front. With the arrival of Jonathan Tah though, it looks like Kim will be allowed to leave this summer.
The 28-year-old, who was praised by current English manager Thomas Tuchel for being “very reliable”, could still be of immense use for a club like Tottenham where he can push Van de Ven and Romero for a starting berth.
Interestingly, Tottenham have had a South Korean in the ranks in Son Heung-min for 10 years now, who is set to leave the club this summer and they could now end up signing one of his compatriots.
Definitely a good option for Tottenham or Chelsea
Kim Min-jae made a name for himself with his exploits for Napoli. His time at Bayern might not have been the greatest but with his talent and potential, a move to either Tottenham or Chelsea would make sense.
The only problem here is figuring out how much Bayern will want to sell a player they don’t necessarily count on anymore. The German club might agree to a bargain fee to then move to sign a defensive target of their own.
For now, interest in Kim seems to be very much on the surface level. However, the next few weeks before the summer transfer window shuts could see some acceleration on this front and let’s wait and see how things play out.
