Tottenham Hotspur have had to recalibrate transfer plans this summer. The exit of Son Heung-min and the injury to James Maddison has put the London club in need for a new attacking midfielder or a left-winger.
Ideally, Spurs might want a player who is capable of playing in both positions. There are a number of options in the transfer market that the club could potentially look at and one of the players on their radar is Man City star Savinho.
Now, as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have opened club-to-club talks to sign Man City star Savinho. The Brazilian attacker has been with Pep Guardiola’s side for around a season now.
Tottenham open club-to-club talks to sign Savinho

The 21-year-old had a very good first season at Man City. He might have been injured at times during the campaign but otherwise, he caught the eye with his displays for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Romano has mentioned that Savinho is open to move to North London, provided the two clubs are open to agreeing on a fee. Thomas Frank has indicated that the Brazilian attacker would be an ideal player.
Pep Guardiola, who has always had an eye for talents, labelled Savinho as an “incredible” player. The 21-year-old is versatile and can play on either wing, and can also play as an attacking midfielder if the need arises.
Kudus and Savinho on either wing is an exciting proposition
Having Mohammed Kudus and Savinho on either wing at the N17 is such an exciting proposition. The former is also a summer arrival and has already settled into his new role at the North London club and the Brazilian can add an even additional dimension.
The Brazilian attacker broke through on to the scene with his performances at Girona. He made a name for himself under Michel’s managerial reign and it came as no surprise when Pep snapped him up last season.
It now remains to be seen what the future holds for Savinho. City are a club who are unlikely to hold a player against his will. However, they will also expect Tottenham to pay a fair fee for the Brazilian attacker. Let’s wait and see if the clubs manage to agree on a fee for the transfer of the 21-year-old this summer.
