Tottenham scouts watched FC Nordsjaelland talent Prince Amoako Junior vs FC Midtjylland over the weekend
Tottenham Hotspur have always been on the hunt for highly-rated young players with potential. This is a transfer strategy that the Lilywhites have adopted for some time now, with former chairman Daniel Levy always pushing to bring in young players and developing them at N17.
We saw Spurs continue this strategy in the past summer transfer window by bringing in Japanese defensive prospect Kota Takai from Kawasaki Frontale. Last summer, they spent big on burgeoning young talents like Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Wilson Odobert.
In the post-Daniel Levy era, it looks like the club’s hierarchy have already started planning for the future. They have identified a top prospect in Africa and willing to go toe-to-toe with several European bigwigs for his signature.

Tottenham scout FC Nordsjaelland Prince Amoako Junior
According to an exclusive report from TBR Football, Tottenham are one of several clubs to have scouted FC Nordsjaelland talent Prince Amoako Junior in recent weeks. Spurs, along with Premier League rivals, Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Arsenal, Brighton and Brentford watched the teenage sensation over the weekend, as he scored the winner in FC Nordsjaelland’s 1-0 win over FC Midtjylland.
A product of the famous Right to Dream academy in Accra, Prince arrived at Nordsjaelland earlier this summer. The right-footed left-winger has been raising eyebrows with his performances in the Danish Super League and already has bagged four goals and an assist in eight appearances. European giants such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, along with Marseille, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, are all keeping tabs on him.
The aforementioned report adds some clubs are already weighing up the prospect of a January deal ahead of a potential move for the 18-year-old in the summer of 2026. One of the most talked-about young talents in Europe at this moment, Prince is looking to make a professional career at the top of the game.

Spurs have to be all over the Nordsjaelland starlet
As per CIES Football, Prince has been ranked fourth in the best U-20 forwards outside of the top five leagues in the world following his great start to life at Nordsjaelland. In reality, Nordsjaelland are a common pathway for talented African stars to make the move into Europe, as they continually partner with the Right To Dream academy, which has produced players like Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah and Simon Adingra.
Constantly increasing interest in Prince shows his talent and potential, and Spurs, having developed a pool of young talent in recent years, are unsurprisingly keen on the winger. In Thomas Frank, Tottenham have a head coach who has nurtured plenty of youngsters during his seven-year stay at Brentford. Also, Ghana star Kudus can play a vital role in convincing his compatriot to join Frank’s booming project in north London, having crossed the London divide just two months ago.
Given so many clubs are vying for his signature, Spurs face a challenge to sign the Nordsjaelland starlet but they must try their best. The club’s reputation in developing young talents, along with their participation in the Champions League, may give them an edge in the race for Prince’s signature.
