Tottenham fans praise Son Heung-min’s performance against Sri Lanka
Tottenham star Son Heung-min was in action for South Korea against Sri Lanka last night. The Asian pair met for a World Cup qualifier, and Son’s side hammered the Lankans 8-0.
The Spurs star captained his side to the resounding win and even bagged a couple of goals in the rout. South Korea
Son’s side led 5-0 at half-time before adding three more goals in an impressive display against the minnows.
Son needs to find that form for Tottenham
The 27-year-old was one of our best players last season, however, things haven’t been great for us in this campaign.
Son has scored just three goals in the entire season and needs to find the back of the net more often. The attacker alone cannot be blamed for the poor performances, as most of the players have been below par.
The 27-year-old was one of our brighter players against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and could have had a hat-trick on another day.
He has to carry his international form against Watford once we are back in action. Many Tottenham fans were pleased with Son’s outing and praised his performance.
