Juventus willing to meet Christian Eriksen’s wage demands ahead of free transfer
Christian Eriksen could be one of the biggest free agents next season as his contract runs out at Tottenham.
The Dane was unable to seal an exit in the summer and openly stated that he wanted to take up a different challenge. The 27-year-old hasn’t been at his best this season but that hasn’t stopped clubs from targeting him.
AS (h/t Calciomercato) claims that Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are keen on the Dane.
The report adds that Juventus want to sign Eriksen on a free transfer and are willing to meet the player’s demands.
A blow for Tottenham?
Eriksen would get a better deal should he leave on a free transfer but that would be a blow for Spurs.
Tottenham can sell him in January as getting nothing for a world-class player would be a big mistake by the team.
However, we don’t have a lot of control in this situation, and it will be interesting to see what takes place in the winter window.
Eriksen needs to play better after a tough start to the season and he isn’t the only one out of a contract at the end of the campaign.
