Twitter reacts to Tottenham’s interest in Serhou Guirassy
Tottenham Hotspur fans have raised their voice against the club’s interest in Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy.
According to French outlet Le10 Sport (h/t Express), Spurs have enquired about the player. Amiens are hoping to receive £17million in return for the player who starred against PSG in the 4-4 draw earlier this season.
The player was involved in all four of his team’s goals and could have bagged himself a hat-trick had it not been for Keylor Navas’ legs. He had scored nine goals and one assist in 23 games in the French top-flight before the season came to a premature end.
The Frenchman could be a good back-up striker whom we have lacked for the last couple of seasons. With Harry Kane the lone senior specialist striker in the squad, it is necessary for us to bring in an able deputy.
The news of Guirassy being that man has not gone down well with the Spurs faithful. A number of them took to Twitter to express their displeasure at the news. We take a look at a few of them below.

If we get him for under £8M it would be a good deal, good back up to Kane and we can send Troy out on a much needed loan
