Tottenham target Eberechi Eze wishes to play at a highest level
The 21-year-old Eze started out at the academy of our rivals Arsenal, before having stints with Fulham, Reading and Millwall. The attacking midfielder moved to QPR in 2016 and has become a regular member of the first-team after a brief loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers.
This kind of form has put the youngster on the radars of Tottenham. The Sun reported that our scout Brian Carey was in attendance to watch Eze in action in QPR’s 3-1 win against Preston in March.
Eze’s performances have shown that he is a cut above the rest at QPR. And now the youngster has expressed his desire to play at the highest level. (h/t Sky Sports)
“The most important thing is what I’m doing on the pitch and as long as I continue to focus on that, everything else will fall into place. I want to play at the highest level.”
While Eze has been in scintillating form, the same cannot be said about QPR. They find themselves well away from the playoff positions. And with just a year left on the 21-year-old’s contract, there is a distinct possibility that they could decide to cash in on him should a suitable offer come in.

Eze, for his part, did claim that he was enjoying life with the Championship outfit and is very happy at the club. (h/t Sky Sports)
But his desire to play at the highest level and QPR’s inability to provide that might work in our favour, should the club decide to make a move for the Englishman come summer.
