Tottenham Hotspur could sign Raul Jimenez for as little as £18m
According to TuttoJuve (h/t Football.london), Tottenham Hotspur could sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Raul Jimenez for a bargain price of £18m in the upcoming window.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of the Mexican ace. The 29-year-old has impressed since moving to the Molineux two summers ago. He has enjoyed a prolific season and has scored 22 goals and 10 assists in 44 games.
He particularly has a good record against us and has produced a return of three goals and two assists in four matches. (h/t Transfermarkt)

His performances against us will be clear in the minds of Spurs supporters. His late goal helped Wolves clinch the tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this year. The loss was a hard pill to swallow, denting our top-four hopes.
According to the report, the uncertain financial landscape facing football clubs could be a reason for the decrease in the Mexican international’s value. This could push Spurs into making a move for the striker once the market opens.
A clinical striker who is capable of leading the line, Jimenez will be a fine addition to our squad. A player with Premier League experience, he could be one of the signings of the season if it comes to fruition.

The 29-year-old has been one of the stars behind Wolves’ rise in the Premier League. The club is currently knocking on the doors of the UEFA Champions League.
Jimenez is the club’s record signing, having initially joined on loan in 2018. The deal was made permanent following a spate of impressive showings. He went on to win the Wolves Players’ Player of the Season in the 2018-19 season.
