Tottenham uninterested in signing free agent Ryan Fraser
The 26-year-old Fraser left Bournemouth at the end of June, when his contract with the Cherries ran out. Unlike many other players whose contracts were on the verge of expiry in June, he did not sign a short-term extension to see out the season.
Tottenham were one of the clubs linked with a move for the Scottish international. There was also interest from the likes of Arsenal, Everton and Crystal Palace. Fraser, who was earning £27,000-a-week at Bournemouth, was hoping to earn a switch to a big club like Tottenham with a contract worth £100,000 per week. (h/t The Times)
However, the report claims that Tottenham have no interest in signing the Scottish international anymore. Instead the club is prioritising moves for other targets. (h/t The Times)
Fraser did not have the best of the campaigns in 2019/20, managing a paltry return of one goal and four assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.
However, he would have been a handy addition to the ranks, as he would have added more depth and quality to the attacking department. Well-versed with the demands of Premier League football, the 26-year-old has his best years ahead of him as well.

But it seems like the club will not be offering Fraser a contract and sign him this summer. Instead, the Scotsman is likely to end up at Crystal Palace, who have reportedly offered him a deal worth £55,000-a-week. (h/t The Times)
