Tottenham Hotspur interested in Ibrahim Sangare
According to a report from Get French Football News (h/t Express) Tottenham Hotspur have now turned their attention towards Toulouse midfielder Ibrahim Sangare after completing two signings.
The North Londoners have landed Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, which was followed by the signing of Joe Hart on a free transfer. And now, the club is targeting a move for 22-year-old Sangare, after having scouted him extensively. (h/t Express)

Sangare joined Toulouse from Ivory Coast outfit AS Denguele in the summer of 2016. Till date, he has turned out 84 times for the French club, scoring two goals and setting up five more. The Ivorian made 25 Ligue 1 appearances in 2019/20 and impressed heavily, although he couldn’t help Toulouse survive the drop.
And this could end up playing in the hands of Tottenham, with the club eyeing a swoop for the Ivorian. As per the report, Toulouse could be open to offloading the 22-year-old for as little as €15m plus add-ons, which would be quite a bargain in the current transfer market.
Following the signing of Hojbjerg, Mourinho has fortified his options in the centre of the park. The Danish midfielder joins the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele in the Spurs’ midfield unit.
However, with Ndombele’s future at Tottenham far from sorted, adding another young and dynamic option in the centre of the park would bode well for the club going forward.

Sangare can play as an anchorman or in a more advanced role in the centre. Capped three times by the Ivory Coast national team, he is filled with immense potential and may prove to be a shrewd piece of business.
