Twitter reacts as Tottenham Hotspur release their third kit for 2020/21
As confirmed by the club’s official site, Tottenham Hotspur have released their third kit for the 2020/21 campaign.
Inspiration for the kit was taken from the iconic kits of our past and Nike’s sneaker heritage. The kit is coloured yellow from top to bottom with a navy blue trim on a crew collar, shirt sleeves, and socks.
Bands of yellow grow increasingly darker as they flow down the front of the jersey. This is influenced by the iconic Nike Air Max 95 trainers, a popular style in North London.
The club’s crest and the Nike symbol are positioned centrally. It is a nod to the famous yellow kits from our past, including the shirts worn during our FA Cup Final triumph in 1982 and the UEFA Cup glory in 1984.
It is also made with 100 percent recycled polyester fabric. A number of fans took to Twitter and appeared happy with the design. We take a look at how some of them reacted below.
