Danny Rose waiting for offers from overseas clubs amid exit speculations
As reported by the Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is hoping that an overseas club will offer him a way out of the club, after having dropped down the pecking order.
The 30-year-old Rose has been with Tottenham since 2007, having signed from Leeds United. He grew into one of the best full-backs in the country under Mauricio Pochettino. But over the past couple of years, his levels have dropped and the Englishman completely fell out of favour under Jose Mourinho this past season.
Indeed, the England international clashed with the Portuguese tactician prior to his January loan exit to Newcastle United, which was captured in the All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur docu-series. (h/t Evening Standard)
Now back at Tottenham, Rose finds himself fourth in the pecking order for the left-back slot behind Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon and academy prospect Dennis Cirkin, who has been regularly used in the pre-season fixtures.
With the European Championships coming in the next year, the left-back is keen on securing an exit in search of regular playing time. However, Tottenham believe it will be difficult for them to find a Premier League buyer for the Englishman. As a result, it is claimed that Rose is very much open to moving overseas. The report even reveals that Rose had been a subject of interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan in the January window, while it also claims that fellow Italian outfit Lazio are keen on the 30-year-old.

Rose is in the final year of his current contract with Tottenham. Given that he
is clearly not a part of the plans, it is imperative that we find a buyer for him and get some transfer fee, instead of losing him for nothing next year.
