Fans react as Son Heung-min plunders four goals against Southampton

Tottenham Hotspur picked up their first Premier League win of the 2020/21 campaign as they thrashed Southampton 5-2 at St. Mary’s, courtesy a Son Heung-min special.

Tottenham fell behind to the Saints after a Danny Ings goal, but Sonny pulled the team back on level terms on the verge of half-time. Soon after the restart, the South Korean international got his second to put Spurs ahead and he then killed off the tie with a third – his first-ever Premier League hat-trick.

Son put in a sensational performance against Southampton

Son was far from done, however, as he added a fourth goal to his tally to pile on Southampton’s misery. Harry Kane, who had assisted all four of Son’s goals, got the fifth goal for Spurs.

It was a great turnaround by Spurs after a rather dodgy start. And Son was at the centre of it, putting in a performance for the ages. Naturally, fans were ecstatic after the 28-year-old’s show and took to social media to express their thoughts.
