Fans react as Tottenham tipped to move for Yves Bissouma
Writing in The Athletic, journalist Charlie Eccleshare has tipped Tottenham to consider making a move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma in the January transfer window.
Having joined the Seagulls in 2018, the 24-year-old has gradually grown into a key player. Bissouma has stepped up in a huge way this season, impressing onlookers with his performances. In 15 appearances so far in 2020/21, the Malian international has scored one goal.
This has seen him get linked with a number of top clubs of late, including the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid. Eccleshare, though, has suggested Bissouma could be a viable target for Tottenham Hotspur in January with manager Jose Mourinho looking to add a midfielder to his ranks.
Indeed, it was claimed earlier this month by Duncan Castles that the Spurs manager wants to bring in a box-to-box midfielder n January. And Bissouma, even though he has played as a No. 6 of late, would fit the bill perfectly.
