Transfer News: Tottenham willing to offer €45m for Paulo Dybala

According to the latest news from Marca English, Tottenham Hotspur are willing to offer a transfer fee of up to €45m to secure the transfer of Paulo Dybala from Juventus.

One of the crown jewels of Juventus’ attack over the past half-a-decade, Dybala has suffered this season due to injuries and a lack of faith shown by manager Andrea Pirlo.

With the Argentine international set to enter the final year of his contract with Juventus at the end of the season, talks of the club cashing in on him have started to do the rounds. Amidst this, the Bianconeri’s sporting director has hinted that the club might be open to offloading him in the summer.

“He has a contract for one more year and I have nothing more to add to what Paratici and president Agnelli have already said. But it is clear that at Juventus we evaluate every business opportunity.”

This has seemingly alerted Tottenham Hotspur, who are long-term admirers of Dybala. In fact, Tottenham came close to signing the Argentine in 2019, only for the deal to collapse due to image rights issues.

Nevertheless, with Dybala potentially on the market, Tottenham could move for him again and are willing to offer €45m to secure his transfer. However, our London rivals Chelsea are also keen on the former Palermo ace and will match that offer.

Despite his difficult season, Dybala is a top-quality player. His potential arrival, alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, would elevate the team to a whole new level. It, however, remains to be seen whether there is an attempt made to sign him this summer.
