Mauricio Pochettino has two key demands before Tottenham return
According to Spanish publication AS (h/t Express), Mauricio Pochettino has put forth two key demands if Tottenham want to re-sign him from Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham are on the lookout for a new manager having let go of Jose Mourinho last month following a disastrous run of results. And, having done so, the club is now considering bringing back Pochettino in a sensational move.
Pochettinho was Tottenham manager before Mourinho replaced in November 2019 and had done some fine work prior to the disappointing start to the 2019/20 campaign. After being axed, the Argentine took over the reins at PSG only this past January and has since gone on to win two trophies in less than six months at the club.
However, Tottenham are now approaching him over a return to the club, with club chairman Daniel Levy having called him up personally to explore the possibility of a comeback. And, as per the report, Pochettino has laid down two specific conditions that he needs to be fulfilled if he is to return to Tottenham.
The first of these conditions is that Pochettino would want a long-term contract of at least four years with the club. Secondly, the Argentine would like to have more control and more say over the matters of transfers, something that is not the case at his current club, PSG. (h/t Express)

Pochettino coming back to Tottenham would, undoubtedly, be a huge coup. The Argentine has unfinished business at the club. And now that he has won trophies, he would have a better understanding of what it takes to go that one step further. It remains to be seen if the club are successful in their endeavours.
