Transfer News: Tottenham starlet Jack Clarke set for another loan spell in 2021/22
According to transfer news from Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Clarke could be headed out for another loan spell for the upcoming 2021/22 season.
Clarke signed for Tottenham Hotspur back in the summer of 2019 in a deal worth £10m. But, he was immediately loaned out to boyhood club Leeds United. Having failed to get game-time under Marcelo Bielsa, the youngster was called back midway through the campaign to be sent out to QPR for the second half of the 2019/20 term.
Clarke did not fare much better with the Rs with regard to his game-time. Having returned to Tottenham at the end of the campaign, the young winger enjoyed some prominent game-time during the short pre-season. But that did not translate into regular playing time with the first-team once the campaign did start.
While he did make an appearance here and there, Tottenham decided to loan him out in January, with the youngster signing for Stoke City. And Clarke fared much better than his last two temporary stints.
Indeed, the youngster had shown signs of promise with the Potters before an ankle injury cut short his stint. Clarke went on to make 14 appearances for them, registering two assists. Now recovering from his injury, the 20-year-old is expected to join the pre-season but the report claims that he could be sent out on loan yet again in the summer.

Alternatively, there is also the option of Clarke receiving some playing minutes in the group stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League with Tottenham during the first half of the season before being shipped out on loan in January.
Regular playing time could come in handy for Clarke, considering that he has been out on the sidelines for a considerable time. So, a loan stint, perhaps with a lower-end Premier League club might help the youngster. It remains to be seen what newly-appointed manager Nuno Espirito Santo decides.
