Fabrizio Romano provides valuation on Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic amidst Tottenham Hotspur links
According to the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano (h/t Football.London), Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has received a valuation amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur. He was once again on the scoresheet as his side won 3-2 against Bologna.
The 21-year-old has now scored in four consecutive games for his team while helping them reach sixth in Serie A with 27 points from 16 matches. He has a goal involvement of 15 goals and two assists, having made 17 appearances across all competitions this term.
Transfer expert Romano reveals that the striker would cost €70million if other clubs want to sign him. He adds how the signing of Jonathan Ikone from Lille for €15million has no links to Vlahovic’s departure in January.
The Serbian will see his current contract come to an end in 2023, and several clubs, including Tottenham, are hoping to pounce on that opportunity. However, as the signing of Ikone has no connection to the Serbian, time will tell how the situation develops in the coming transfer windows.
Opportunity in the making?
He has, however, already rejected an extension offered by his club, which would put him in the last year of his contract at the end of this season.
The disagreement was a big deal, and the Italian club had to address the situation by releasing a statement. Fiorentina would, thus, know that his valuation could decrease as time passes, given that his current deal expires in 2023.
It remains to be seen what the stance of Daniel Levy would be on his transfer and hopefully, Antonio Conte also has a say in it, given the fact that he is in charge of our current rebuild and his knowledge of Serie A. Harry Kane continued his struggles in front of the goal against Norwich City, and should it continue moving forward, exploring the market to deal with the situation wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Increased competition could be the motivation that Kane needs, and should we sign the Serb striker, it would ensure that the England captain has to fight for his place in the team, however ridiculous that may sound right now.
A more logical solution would be pairing Kane with Vlahovic, should the move happen. Conte had success in Italy playing Romelu Lukaku alongside Lautaro Martinez and a strike pairing at N17 wouldn’t be a bad idea. Kane, who won the Playmaker Award in the league last season, has also proved his worth as a creator and if we combine that with Vlahovic’s finishing, a tasty strike duo could be in the making.
