Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic advised to join Tottenham Hotspur over Arsenal amid interest from both clubs
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are interested in getting the services of Fiorentina superstar Dusan Vlahovic, and the latter has been advised to join Antonio Conte over Mikel Arteta. He has been sensational for the past two years and has become one of the most exciting strikers in world football.
Vlahovic was once again on the scoresheet as he scored a double against Salernitana in Serie A. He has helped his club to fifth place in the league table and has been crucial in ensuring that they challenge for the European spots.
Speaking to BoboTV on Twitch (h/t Football.London), Former Italy centre-back Daniele Adani has suggested that the Serb should join Conte instead of Arteta if he moves to Premier League. He added that it would be beneficial for the striker moving forward and used Romelu Lukaku as an example to make his case.
“Why not choose Conte and Tottenham? Antonio would make Vlahovic grow, as happened with [Romelu] Lukaku at Inter.”
Since the 21-year-old has rejected a contract proposal from his club, it opens a chance for us to make our move. And like Adani mentioned, the Italian manager would be a much better option compared to the Spaniard from our North London rivals.
The 52-year-old has had great success at his previous clubs and has helped several players to reach newer heights. That would give us an edge over the Gunners, but things are far from being finalised.
The Serbian international is currently on a five-game scoring streak and has shown no signs of slowing down any time soon. He has featured in 18 matches this season and has scored 17 goals alongside two assists. That is a ridiculous goal ratio to have, and should we get him in the future, he could turn out to be a great signing.

The Fiorentina striker’s form from last season shows that this is not a case of “one-season wonder”. From 40 matches, he has scored 21 times while assisting two times in the process. He has built on that and has looked in even greater form this time around.
It remains to be seen whether we would agree to a deal with him in the coming transfer windows. We would hope that it is the case as the club try to back their coach to achieve silverware after a long time.
