Here in north London on an 18-month loan deal that will see him play the entirety of next season as well, Spurs coughed up £8.3m to secure the star’s services. He will be joined by Juventus teammate Rodrigo Bentancur, who landed a permanent move to Tottenham on deadline day as well.
FA Cup debut on the cards?
Manager Antonio Conte will be keen to add some silverware to Spurs’ trophy cabinet, as he seeks to take the side all the way to the summit in the FA Cup. The knockout competition proves to be a very real opportunity for Conte to win his first trophy with Spurs in his debut season in north London.

It was no secret that Conte wanted reinforcements in this Spurs squad, with the Italian bemoaning the lack of quality in his side that was needed to compete at the top with other elite clubs in the Premier League as well as continental competitions.
Tottenham responded to Conte’s demands by raiding his former club of two bright stars on the last day of the January transfer window. A forward was required this season with talisman Harry Kane not being at his best, and Kulusevski offers an outlet for goals in attack, albeit from out wide.
