Inter Milan in pole position to sign Torino star Gleison Bremer amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur
According to Italian publication Tuttomercato Web (h/t Liverpool Echo), Inter Milan are in the pole position to secure the signature of Torino star Gleison Bremer amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur. He is one of the most highly-rated central defenders in Serie A this season and looks to be in line to leave Torino in the summer transfer window.
Bremer has played a crucial role in helping his side compete to get into the top half of the league table. That is a great achievement indeed for their rather modest standards. His displays have not been overlooked as a cluster of interested parties have been keeping tabs on the situation at this moment.
The Italian club have set a price tag in the region of £25million and would not entertain any offers less than the valuation. Inter are the favourites right now as some of their centre-backs are likely to depart Giuseppe Meazza after this campaign. Tottenham have work to do if they hope to prise the Brazilian away from the Italian champions
Spurs must sign Bremer!
The 24-year-old is a defensive powerhouse and is a strong presence at the back, leading others in the process. He is renowned for his physicality and excels in winning aerial duels as well. His ability to read the game well and shut down attacks complement the other qualities making him a desirable target for Spurs.
It is no wonder why the Serie A defender is also a transfer target for the likes of Liverpool, Juventus, AC Milan and Bayern Munich as well. That means we would need to be at our toes at all costs as the competition for his services is very high. Now we must focus our attention on overthrowing the Nerazzurri to put us in a good spot.
The North London side must bring in the desired targets to back Antonio Conte’s rebuild. After all, our current squad needs to be bolstered in several areas, and the central defensive position is one such position. Bremer can be a great addition to our backline that has struggled to keep clean sheets this season.

As such, we could use the presence of someone like Bremer to solidify the backline. The asking price is very cheap for a player of his potential and it would be criminal if we do not make a play to land him. The Brazilian’s current contract will only expire in the summer of 2024 as well.
Hence, we should not be waiting around to make our case, especially after the mistake Fabio Paratici and co made in the January transfer window. That saw us lose out on two of our key targets in Luis Diaz and Adama Traore as they joined Liverpool and Barcelona, respectively. Let’s hope that we can get this deal done for Bremer before more teams join the fray.
