Antonio Conte has a big decision to make ahead of Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur have started the new season in the best possible way and are currently unbeaten in all competitions but Antonio Conte could have to make a big decision ahead of his side’s next game against Manchester City.

Richarlison was the hero for Spurs on his European debut as his brace sealed all three points for the club against Marseille. And now he is in contention to start the next game.

Conte has also hinted that the Brazilian could start his third successive game this season, despite resting Dejan Kulusevski for the most part of their Champions League game. In an interview as quoted by the Express, the Italian coach gave his thoughts.

“I have for sure a big decision, not only this. Because honestly, I’m a bit worried because we are going to play against City in two days and it’s not easy, because I think some players need to rest and to recover. We have many players that played every game until now.”

Richarlison has been in fine form for the club, along with Harry Kane. Both the forwards are expected to start against Manchester City, while Heung-min Son could be dropped for the game.

Son has endured a tough start to this season. The Golden Boot winner of last season is yet to get on the scoresheet for his side this campaign. Kulusevski, who has been in fine form since his arrival in January could start up ahead with the duo of Kane and Richarlison.

The duo of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur is expected to start in the middle of the park, along with Ivan Perisic and Emerson Royal as wing-backs. Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Ben Davies could start at the back for Spurs against City.

Conte has been hesitant to start most of his new signings. Spurs will play City and then will travel to face Sporting Lisbon for a Champions League game after three days. Rotation will be key or some players could suffer from exhaustion.
