Tottenham Hotspur’s Dejan Kulusevski will miss Everton clash with injury; doubtful for Manchester United game

According to Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski could miss the game against Manchester United if he doesn’t feel ‘OK’ by then.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference (h/t Football.London) before the match against Everton at N17 tomorrow [October 15], the Italian manager confirmed that Kulusevski will be out against the Toffees as he doesn’t want to take a ‘stupid risk’.

“Deki is still not available for the game against Everton. The rest of the players are ok. I think we need to have a bit of patience with him. Don’t take stupid risks, because we have to play a lot of games from now until November.”

There’s little time to rest after the game against the Merseysiders as we face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night – an even tougher fixture given the quality of the opponent and the location of the match.

However, we could be without Deki for the game as well. Conte continued:

“It depends on the new MRI he did today about what the doctors say about his situation. Also, the feeling of the player…”

“…the player has to feel he is OK 100 per cent otherwise I think it is not good to take stupid risk.”

He has missed the last four of our games across competitions with a thigh issue. Conte is correct, though. There’s no point risking him.

More Tottenham News:

We have Richarlison, Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, and hopefully, Lucas Moura is also coming back to the fold soon. He came on as a substitute in our 3-2 win against Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this week after almost two months out of action.
