Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur could loan out Bryan Gil, Japhet Tanganga and Pape Matar Sarr in January
Tottenham Hotspur could loan out the trio of Bryan Gil, Japhet Tanganga and Pape Matar Sarr in January, according to the Evening Standard.
Antonio Conte admitted that his side cannot compete in both the Premier League and Champions League without reinforcements. And it looks like the club could offload these players to bring in new ones.
All three of them have hardly featured for the club this season and it is clear that Conte does not trust them enough. It is hardly surprising to see the club reach such a decision.
Tanganga has featured only once this season. He came on as a substitute during our 2-0 win against Marseille in the Champions League. The 23-year-old centre-back was not allowed to leave on loan in the summer, but now that stand could change.
Gil came close to leaving the club this summer. The winger had interest from Spanish side Valencia, but his move collapsed at the end. The 21-year-old has featured twice this season, both coming off the bench.
Sarr has not featured for the club at all this season in any competition. The midfielder is way down the pecking order with the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur, Oliver Skipp and Yves Bissouma all above him.

Tottenham will hope that Valencia revives their interest in the winger and take him out on loan. The player had spent the second half of last season on loan at the Mestalla. As for Sarr and Tanganga, the duo have interest from Italy.
It will be a wise decision to send them out on loan. They are still young and could do with some playing time. It is clear that they will find that to come by hard here, so better for them to seek pastures elsewhere.
