Injury News: Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison could be set for a spell on the sidelines
In what will come as a major blow to Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur and Brazilian forward Richarlison is set to be out on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, according to the Evening Standard.
Richarlison suffered the injury during the warm-up before his side’s clash against Croatia in the quarter-finals of the World Cup. Despite this, the forward started the game and played for 84 minutes before being subbed off.
Brazil went on to lose the game 5-3 on penalties and the 25-year-old returned to north London a week earlier than planned. The forward has undergone a scan as the club now awaits results with fears that he could be out for at least a month.

Should the worst thing happen, it will come as a major blow for Conte who prepares his side for a hectic second half to the season. Richy had a fantastic tournament with the Selecao, playing in four games and scoring three goals in the process.
The 25-year-old was tipped to deputize for Harry Kane going forward, but that does not seem to be an option now. The Brazilian was a regular for the first half of the season, with him competing for a place with Dejan Kulusevski in the starting eleven.
Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil will have to step up now in Richarlison’s absence, with the former also struggling to stay fit while the latter has not been able to convince Conte to use him more often so far this season.
Richarlison has played in 15 games so far for Spurs in all competitions scoring two and assisting three in the process. With the form he was in Qatar, one would have expected him to bang in goals when the season resumed.
