Transfer News: Tottenham Hotspur director of football Fabio Paratici ‘likes’ AS Monaco right-back Vanderson
According to Football. London, Tottenham Hotspur director of football Fabio Paratici ‘likes’ AS Monaco and Brazilian right-back Vanderson, with the 21-year-old capable of playing anywhere on the right side.
Emerson Royal has been our go-to player on the right-hand side and he has not lived up to the expectations so far. The Brazilian has lacked the final pass in the final third and has also committed very silly mistakes at the back.
Other defenders like Djed Spence and Matt Doherty have failed to impress Antonio Conte so far and have failed to muster up some decent playing time this season, with the former especially struggling for some game time.
🚨Fabio Paratici also likes 21-year-old Monaco star Vanderson, with the young Brazilian able to play anywhere down the right-hand side. With a contract until 2027 the Ligue 1 club could ask for a sizable fee for the youngster.

So it is not surprising to see the club looking at different players who can play on the right-hand side of the pitch, with Vanderson being one of them.
The 21-year-old joined the French side in January and soon established himself as a regular for the club. The Brazilian has featured in 23 games for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions, registering two assists in the process.
Vanderson has proved himself to be a reliable defender, both while going forward and also in the defensive department. The 21-year-old has excelled at the French club so far and he would make an upgrade to all the other defenders we have.
However, the 21-year-old recently joined his club and sees his contract run till 2027. This puts the French club in a very comfortable spot on the negotiating table and they could demand a sizeable fee for their star youngster.
