Juventus confident of retaining Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot
According to TuttoJuve, Juventus are confident of retaining Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot with the player’s future still uncertain.
The French midfielder is one on the radar of many clubs around the world due to his contract situation. Rabiot’s current deal with Juventus expires in the summer and understandably, many clubs want him.
After seasons of indifference, Rabiot finally has had a great season at Juventus. Arguably his best ever, this could also end up being his last season in Italy should he leave and move to a club elsewhere.
Tottenham is just one of the options that he has. Other Premier League clubs like Liverpool are also interested in signing the player. It is understandable considering the obvious quality that he possesses.
However, it has emerged that the player is close to staying at Juventus now. Despite their precarious situation, the Italian club are said to be confident of retaining the player and making him sign a new deal.
The thing with Rabiot is that his quality has never been in question. It has always been an issue of consistency. The Frenchman is yet to truly live up to the early potential he showed at PSG.
Despite being a regular in the French national team now, Rabiot is yet to make the spot his own. However, things could be about to change going forward and the midfielder will be hoping for the same.
