Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona are interested in Aleksandar Mitrovic
According to Daily Star, a number of Premier League clubs including Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Aleksandr Mitrovic who has been having a great season in the league this season.
The Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has been attracting interest from a number of top clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham, and Barcelona, following his impressive performances this season.
However, his recent red card during Fulham’s controversial 3-1 FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester United may have cost him a potential move to Old Trafford. This could turn out to be a boost for Tottenham.
Before the incident, United had earmarked Mitrovic as a possible target for the summer transfer window. However, his dismissal and subsequent FA charge for violent conduct may have damaged his prospects of joining the Manchester club.
Despite his red card, Mitrovic had initially impressed during the match, scoring the opening goal for Fulham. However, his dismissal in the 72nd minute may have cost him the chance to impress United boss Erik Ten Hag further.
This would be a significant setback for Fulham, who are hoping to finish in the top six, and for Mitrovic, who had been hoping to impress potential suitors. However, if the Red Devils drop out, it is a boost for Tottenham.
Mitrovic is on Tottenham’s radar for good reason. We still don’t know what is going to happen with Harry Kane in the future. Richarlison is failing to convince and we may need a new striker to help us.
The Fulham marksman will have been hoping that his performances would earn him a big move in the summer. However, the period of suspension could play a role in any potential transfer.
