Barcelona put three forwards including Tottenham Hotspur target Ferran Torres up for sale
Italian outlet Calciomercato linked Tottenham Hotspur with a move for Barcelona forward Ferran Torres last month.
They stated that Spurs could be looking to sign the Spain international to bolster their frontline and stated that former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique could also be in the club’s sights if Antonio Conte left.
That he did, but we have appointed Cristian Stellini as the interim manager with Ryan Mason as his assistant until the end of the season. It remains to be seen what comes of the links to Enrique.
But according to SPORT, Torres has been put up for sale by Barcelona, alongside Ansu Fati and Raphinha. The Brazil international arrived from Leeds United in a big-money move from Leeds United last summer.
Go for it Spurs
He has been decent but hasn’t done anything to set him apart as a world-class winger. Fati’s situation has reached a boiling point after his father’s comments regarding his son’s lack of playing time at the club.
And along with them, Torres is believed to be on the market. Barcelona will apparently listen to offers for the attacking trio. Torres, meanwhile, does not want to leave Spotify Camp Nou.
The former Manchester City winger wants to succeed at Barcelona. He has also attracted interest from Atletico Madrid – a club based in his homeland – and Inter Milan in Italy.
Hence, the road to signing him won’t be easy. The 23-year-old’s contract also has a little over four years left (Transfermarkt) which will obviously allow Barcelona to place a big price tag on him if they want.

He is versatile and can play anywhere across the attacking line. If we can afford him, then he will be a smart signing for the present and the future, with Son Heung-min and Harry Kane not getting any younger.
