Tottenham Hotspur in a hurry to secure 22-year-old South American enforcer

Tottenham Hotspur rushing to sign Manuel Ugarte

According to the Record, Tottenham Hotspur are rushing to sign talented Portuguese star Manuel Ugarte and want to bring him to N17.

The 22-year-old defensive midfielder has been a standout performer for Sporting CP this season, particularly in the European competitions, where his performances have caught the attention of Tottenham’s scouting team.

The Uruguayan midfielder has a €60 million release clause in his contract, but with the player not interested in signing a new deal with the club, Spurs can sign him for that price. The talented player would be ideal for our team.

Tottenham’s midfield has been a cause for concern this season, with the team relying heavily on the likes of Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre Emile Hojbjerg. Ugarte’s signing would provide Spurs with much-needed depth in midfield.

Ugarte has all the makings of a top-class player, and his potential has not gone unnoticed by Tottenham’s coaching staff. His impressive performances against us is what seems to have caught the eye.

It is clear that Spurs see Ugarte as a player who can make an immediate impact at the club, and with the transfer window looming, they are keen to complete the deal as soon as possible. There is competition from elsewhere.

Ugarte’s signing would undoubtedly be a statement of intent from Tottenham, who are looking to bounce back from a disappointing season. The North London club has underperformed this season.

The 22-year-old midfielder is still young and has plenty of room for improvement, and with the guidance of Tottenham’s coaching staff, he could develop into one of the Premier League’s best midfielders.
