Real Sociedad set sights on Tottenham Hotspur loanee Sergio Reguilon
Spanish outfit Real Sociedad have set their sights on Sergio Reguilon, who is on loan at Atletico Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur ahead of next summer, according to Fichajes.net.
The Spain international joined Los Rojiblancos on a temporary move in the summer of 2022. However, things have not gone to plan for the full-back at the La Liga giants. Also, Spurs do not count on him. Thus, the 26-year-old is looking for a new club.
La Real have enjoyed a brilliant season. Imanol Alguacil has secured a fourth-place finish for his team in the league. As a result, they are looking to reinforce their squad with Champions League football in the bag.
Reguilon made his way through the youth ranks at Real Madrid. Subsequently, Sevilla took the Spaniard on a temporary move in the 2019/20 season. Subsequently, after an impressive campaign with the Andalusian club, Tottenham got a hold of the full-back’s signature.
Unfortunately, after two seasons at the North London side, the 26-year-old failed to showcase the full extent of his talent. As a result, the left-back found himself out of Antonio Conte’s plans.
As things stand, the Reale Arena side have Aihan Munoz and Diego Rico in their ranks. It remains to be seen whether the Spanish outfit will make a move for our defender in the coming months.

This season, Tottenham have been poor defensively. Ivan Perisic has been preferred on the left in the back five. However, the Croatian has left a lot to be desired in that position.
We also have Ben Davies in our ranks. But the Wales international mostly played as a centre-back. Ryan Sessegnon has also lost his place in the team and has been on the sidelines for some time now.

Spurs seemingly need more quality on the left-hand side of the defence. However, Reguilon has not inspired confidence with his performances at Atletico this season. If La Real pay a decent sum, it would be wise to cash in on the Spaniard.
