Tottenham Hotspur to prioritise Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani if Harry Kane leaves
Eintracht Frankfurt star Ranal Kolo Muani would be a top priority for Tottenham Hotspur if Harry Kane were to leave this summer, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri on Twitter (h/t football.london).
As things stand, the England international is in the final year of his current contract at the North London side. To that end, Spurs’ hierarchy want the 29-year-old sold in the coming weeks if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal.
Bayern Munich have expressed interest in Kane in the ongoing transfer window. However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has rebuffed two proposals from the Bundesliga giants for the striker.
If the English skipper were to leave, the North London side will evidently need to replace him. To that end, Spurs have Kolo Muani on their radar to bolster their attack.
The France international signed for Eintracht last summer as a free agent. Subsequently, the 24-year-old caught a lot of people’s attention with his displays in the 2022/23 term.
In the previous campaign, the former Nantes star showcased his goalscoring prowess and creativity up front. He found the back of the net 23 times and provided 17 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions for Die Adler.
Tottenham have already been in touch with Kolo Muani’s camp. However, it will seemingly not be an easy deal to pull off, with the Bundesliga outfit valuing the forward at €80 million.
Kane has been our talisman for several years now. The English national has been relied on by the North London side season after season.
