Inter Milan have Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on their transfer shortlist
Tottenham Hotspur star Tanguy Ndombele is on the midfield shortlist of Inter Milan in the ongoing transfer window, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport via FCInterNews.
Simone Inzaghi is looking to add more physicality in the middle of the park at the Serie A outfit. To that end, the French national is one of the players the Nerazzurri have on their radar to bolster the engine room this summer.
As things stand, the future of Stefano Sensi is uncertain at Inter. At the moment, the Nerazzurri are looking at low-cost options. But if they were to cash in on Joaquin Correa, the Italians would pursue more established midfielders.
Ndombele is just one of the names on the list for the Serie A giants. Apart from the 26-year-old, the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium side also have Red Bull Salzburg’s Lucas Gourna-Douath and Antonin Barak from Fiorentina on their radar.
Tottenham signed the French national in the summer of 2019 from Olympique Lyon. Unfortunately, the midfielder has failed to live up to the mark at the North London side.
Ndombele has been unable to cement his place in the Lilywhites’ starting lineup over the years. In the previous campaign, the midfielder spent the season on loan at Napoli.
At the Partenopei, the French national was not a starter but was handed regular minutes off the bench. He ended up lifting the Scudetto with the Naples-based club.
Ange Postecoglou counted on Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, James Maddison and Oliver Skipp in the middle of the park in the first two games of the season. The Australian has managed to get the best out of some of our midfielders.

For now, we also have Giovani Lo Celso in our ranks. Rodrigo Bentancur will hopefully return from injury soon as well. Therefore, we can seemingly afford to part ways with Ndombele. But whether Inter will make a move for the French national remains to be seen.
